Yes, i liked to, it shows different activities to foster motivation of students. The way language and literacies can be complemented through the use of technology “multimodality”.

This video shows how teacher implement multimodality in the daily literacy practice. As Mills asserts it is not enough to create space for students to make connections with popular and multimodal texts to prepare them for social and civic participation.

When we bring a popular multimodal text to class, we must intertwine what students know, what we know with new literacy studies. As we can see in the video students are engaged with something they like ,specially girls, as fashion shows or create mockups but it is after this is included that we can promote a great participation where they can express and we can include certain curricular subjects.

It´s interesting to see this video because it´s clearly seen how these children are really engaged with multimodal and multiliteracies expressions from the very beginning. Besides I consider that age is crucial to start practicing and being involved with multimodalities and multiliteracies; in this case the children enjoy and absorb them easily.

Children really enjoy the activities, they are very engaged. They use their abilities to make their own material and connect it to the language topic we are working on. They can include their personal literacies when they have the opportunity to créate different kinds of texts.

I really enjoyed to see the video, it showed that from the images students can find the meaning and the intention of the message, also the ways how the students interacted and produced with the knowledge. It was very nice.

Congratulations your video shows different kinds of activities that involve multimodality and the use of new literacies. I like the way students work and interact with the art, and they create their own meanings, their own worlds with the clay. And all the images and all the activities can really help us to expand our knowledge and the use of multimodality activities. Thank you for sharing this nice video.
